Embrace My "Inner Squirrel"

This is Me and Dad in 2003
at our town house in Naperville.

February almost over--Its Monday. All sort of things churning around in everyone's lives.
My "inner squirrel" needs a vacation.

The economy is.... fill in the blank. It should be listed in the Thesaurus under -bad. I think everyone would under stand-- "Don't do that, that would be economy." Economy dog. Economy movie.
Hmmm Maybe not.

That old song "I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden."--I think my Dad listened to that a lot. I'm not sure I ever wanted a rose garden--a patch of Marigolds would be fine-

Hmm -- that's not going anywhere.

Snow. There's more now. Had a few days where I could just smell spring. It made be a bit loopy. I was looking at spring and summer clothes. I guess I can still look. Zena misses rolling in the grass.

Hmmm-that topic exhausted.

I think I miss my Dad.

Groundhog saw shadow-- can't beat the rap

We had a bit of nicer weather here for about 2 hours in the afternoon. Now it's back to deep freeze. Got a chance to be on Kallums chanell today--spent time filling out architecture camp app.
I keep trying to voice my opinion. But all I do is recite the events of the day.... I will keep trying.
I need to be a better blogger.

ok--The more I get to know people the more I like my dog. That is so true. To quote Anne Lamott-- some of the things that I think sometimes would make Jesus drink gin out of the cat dish."
My old piano teacher Mrs. Pendell told me " you don't have to say everything that you are thinking."
that's all I got.

Lots of practice is the only way to handle Monday.
